Lessons can be offered on a private, semi private and group basis by our highly qualified and experienced staff.
Lessons are offered for a variety of levels by:
Fran Bird BHSI, ex advanced event rider and Advanced Medium dressage
Steff Savage. BHSAI
Brigitte James. BHS Stage 3

Lessons can be tailored to individual requirements.

For the Less Competitive: 
We specialise in lessons to build confidence, skills and enjoyment with your horse or pony and if you would like to we can help you to your first competitions however low key. 
For some though the pleasure is in the training and social side of riding and we offer plenty of group lessons to enable you to do this on your own horse or pony or ours.  Come and ride and then enjoy a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate talking with friends. 
 For the New Rider:
We have a range of lovely horses and ponies on which you can learn to ride whether you are 18, retired or somewhere in between. 
For Competition Riders:
Eventing to CCI** level
Show Jumping to Foxhunter    
Dressage to Medium   
Many lessons can be booked to fit around your personal commitments but regular lessons include:

4.30-6pm: Riding and Stable Management session  Novice/  intermediate Ages 3-14  

                Session £35.00





Private or semi-private lessons by arrangement during day




09.30-10.30       Adults Riding lesson.   Intermediate/Advanced/Competitive.  Varied flat or jump  £37.50. Own Horse £32.


09.30-11.45      Above lesson + Stable Management session.  Can be used to work towards BHS exams

4.30-6.30          Pony Club Improvers/Intermediate  £38.00

4.30-5.30          After School Club: £12.50  A mixture of some weeks of games and fun on ponies and stable management sessions.  Please note these are not riding lesson sessions 



09.15 -  10.15    Adults Riding Lesson Novice/Intermediate/Confidence Building £37.50, Own Horse £32.50

09.15 -  11.30   Above lesson and Stable Management.  It is possible to work towards Horse Owners Certificates  £47.50, Own Horse £42.50

Day Time:  Private and semi private lessons, hacks by arrangement

4.00-6.00:   Pony Club - Riding and Pony care Novice. Age guide 4-9yrs

5.00-7.00:   Pony Club - Improvers/Intermediate:  Age guide 10-15 yrs



Sat: private or semi private lessons by arrangement.




9.00-11.00 Pony Club - Riding and Pony Care  Novice, Age Guide 5-9 yrs

10.00-12.00 Pony Club - Riding and Pony Care Improvers Age Guide 7-12

12.00-2.00pmAdults Riding and Horse Care 

2.00pm: Lessons aimed at 7-14 year olds learning about skills in a dressage or showing arena, improving their jumping to about 2'3"-2'9"'


3.00pm:  Lessons aimed at 12 yrs+ aimed at the more competitive rider


4.15pm   Private or semi-private lessons

HACKs available some weeks



8.00       Private or lessons by arrangement

9.00am  Private and semi-private lessons by arrangement

10.00 -12.00am  Pony Club Improvers Age Guide 8-11
